Psalm 126:1-6
When the LORD brought the prisoners back to Jerusalem,
it seemed as if we were dreaming.
Then we were filled with laughter,
    and we sang happy songs.
Then the other nations said,
“The LORD has done great things for them.”
The LORD has done great things for us,
    and we are very glad.

LORD, return our prisoners again,
as you bring streams to the desert.
Those who cry as they plant crops
    will sing at harvest time.
Those who cry
as they carry out the seeds
will return singing
    and carrying bundles of grain.
(New Century Version (NCV))

Loving Divine Family,

We lift voices of praise to you, LORD! You are so good to us. Through the generations you have blessed us. You have honoured the prayers of our ancestors by blessing us and placing your dreams within us. You are doing great things in and through us.

Thank you for the streams in the desert. We sing your praises; joyful laughter fills our inner beings. We say the Lord has done great things, and we hear those around us echo back; the Lord has done great things for them. May those who feel like outsiders hear your invitation to join your mystery and see themselves as your children. May we all return to your loving presence.

I receive your blessings today, LORD, and thank you for…

We sing your praises LORD, for you are restoring us and blessing our ancestors through us. The seeds you planted within our ancestors, we now harvest and celebrate. Because of your goodness we can greet each other in a good way.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!
