Proverbs 18:6-12

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your safety. We are tempted on all sides and at all times to slander others and to gossip. Even in prayer we hide behind care and compassion while belittling others. You call us to be quiet, look upon you, and run to your safety. You command us to leave gossip and hurtful words behind. We run to you, LORD, seeking your safety.

Oh LORD, we praise you; we praise your name. Thank you, we can run to you and find shelter and safety.

I find safety in your embrace today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

Guard our minds so no evil thoughts can penetrate us. Guard our hearts so our attitudes towards others will be of love and compassion. Guard our mouths so no gossip or slander will be found on our lips. Guard our ears so we will turn from gossip and hurtful words spoken by others. We seek to follow your ways and greet each other in a good way.

With joy we praise you,

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
