2 Samuel 7:18-22

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, and you invite us to quiet our hearts and minds. We listen to your promises and are honoured by what you reveal to us. Who are we, Sovereign LORD, that you should count us among your righteous? Who are we, that our names and the names of our descendants are written in your family tree?

You know us so intimately and love us so dearly. Thank you for the amazing promises and great things you have done for us. We are your beloved children. The joy of the LORD is our strength.

I see my name written in your book today, Loving Creator, and thank you for…

Your ways are mysterious, O LORD. By your invitation, we journey on your Holy Way, this ancient path upon which our ancestors and great mystics also journeyed. In faith, we step with assurance that you will be with us and our descendants forever, and that we will join with those in the Heavenly Realm in reverent worship for all eternity.

With joy we praise you!
