2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space feeling the relief of being home. You greet us, and we collapse into your waiting embrace. We have given much. We are exhausted. You remind us of the benevolence of your creation. When we looked with love upon creation, we received love in return. When we looked with fear, we saw the things that fed our fear. Yet, here we are, in your arms. You loved us first, and we love you back.

Thank you, LORD, your mercies are new and fresh each day. Thank you for renewing us every day. We fix our eyes on you, as we approach a new calendar year. Thank you for leading and guiding us.

I receive your love today, O LORD, and thank you for…

Your promise is true for us, O LORD. All we have experienced on our journey is for our eternal gain. We have journeyed with you and each other in a good way. As we continue our journey with you, we will remember to remember that great joy is waiting for us at the end of this holy, ancient path.

With joy we praise you!
