Ruth 4:13-17

Loving Divine Family,

Praise to you, O LORD of the Ages! You know us intimately. Who else has been with us through the generations, guiding and blessing us each step of the way? Your plans for us were on your heart before our first breath, long before our ancestors ever thought of us. You wrote us into your family tree from the mysteries of the darkness when you breathed life over the waters of creation.

Praise to you, Loving Yahweh, for being our guardian and redeemer. Thank you for providing defenders and protectors. Thank you for your companionship that gives us hope and guides us to you. Thank you for new birth that leads to the renewal of life.

I see my name written in your family tree today, Loving Creator, and thank you for…

We celebrate with our brothers and sisters. We praise you for the children who are born into your family lineage, for their potential and your promise over each one of them. We place all life in your hands; the lives of the children, both born and unborn, are yours. Love them even more than we ever could. Hold them in your loving embrace in this world, and in the world which is to come.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
