Jonah 4:1-11

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, and become aware of our judgemental hearts. You have given us second chances; yet, we see your same compassion for others and are quick to challenge the grace and mercy you extend to them. Instead, we seek justice and for others to be punished. In response to our challenges, you seek to protect and mend us.

Thank you loving, gracious Yahweh for your compassion. Your love for your creation is boundless and you long to be in relationship with your creation. You long for us to love you and your creation. Give us eyes to see other people the way you see them. Give us hearts to love the way you do.

I feel you softening my hard heart today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Heal and guide us, O Yahweh. Protect us from ourselves. Create in us clean hearts, and renew a right spirit within us.

With joy we praise you!
