Psalm 138:1-8

Loving Divine Family,

Who are we, LORD, that you look upon us with such favour? We enter your sacred prayer space seeking understanding. You welcome us to freely and completely participate in your mystery. You assure us that in time we will know all things, when we join you on your holy mountain and when we join our ancestors in the heavenly realm. But for now, you invite us as your fully-beloved heirs to simply join you in this life and relish in your affection.

O Yahweh, thank you for answering us when we call out to you. You heal and strengthen us. You surround and protect us when we are in the midst of trouble. There is no need for us to be fearful or anxious because you are with us. Our whole beings are filled with gratitude and hope.

I relish in your affection today, Loving Creator, and thank you for…

We cast all our cares before you and celebrate the ease with which we can journey on our paths when we follow your guidance. We step with you in confidence and faith that you are attentive to all our needs. Walk with us through this circle of life so we will keep our eyes on you and celebrate your presence with us, and be ready when you call us to eternity with you upon your holy mountain.

With joy we praise you,

Amen!
