1 Samuel 20:1-25

Loving Divine Family,

We gather together, preparing for the New Moon Feast. You have prepared a place of honour for us at your banquet table. You invite us to come to your banquet and not to fear how we will measure up to others. You invite us to not hide from you; your power and love for us are perfect.

We, your Beloved, call out to you. Thank you for the gift of life, friends, and visions for our lives. Thank you for preparing us for what we need to know, when we need to know it. Thank you for the gift of friends who encourage us and bless us.

I receive your invitation today, Mighty God, and thank you for…

Your power and might are truly awesome. With one breath, you could destroy us. With one wish from you, we could perish. But your love and mercy for us are endless. You choose to honour, protect, and defend us. We will journey on your Ancient Path in a good way, and feast at your table for all eternity.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
