2 Corinthians 5:1-5

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, groaning with the aches and pains of hard times. We are tired, worn, and weary from hard labour. You welcome us, covering our bodies with rest and healing ointment.

Loving, Listening God, you are with us and hear us. You want the best of the best for us. However, for whatever reason, we are willing to settle for second best. We are frail and our bodies are only temporary. Thank you for putting a “little of heaven in our hearts so that we’ll never settle for less.”

I receive your healing today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Your desire for us is to not suffer, but to rejoice in the holy work you have called us to. Give us the strength to keep our eyes on you, follow your lead, and trust you to guide us. Following you, we will not stray. With you as our guide and help, we will experience the lightness of our work, and will rejoice.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
