First Week in Lent, Friday, March 3, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space, like our ancestors through countless generations. Like them, we seek your unconditional forgiveness, mercy, and peace. You take our sins and burdens from us. You remove them from our sight. We may even try to watch what you do with them, where you place them. But you crush them with your mighty hand; they disintegrate before us.
Yahweh, we praise you because no one is like you, our loving God. Thank you for taking delight in showing your loyal love for us. Thank you for forgiving us for our sins and showing great mercy for us.
I feel your forgiveness, peace, and freedom today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…
With the same hand that crushes our sins and burdens, you touch us with infinite gentleness. Your wisdom lights our way to the next leg of our journey along your Ancient Path. We step forward together in faith that your direction is perfect.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
