Daniel 7:13-14

Daniel 7:13-14

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space and find you seated on your throne. We hold ourselves reverently at a distance from you, hesitating to come close. But, all at once, Life-giving Spirit embraces us. She caresses our faces and presses to our lips. We feel your breath on our necks and hear you whisper to us, “You are worthy, you are mine, you are forgiven.”

We your people accept the invitation to be led and be aware of your presence in our lives and surroundings. We sing,

“Blessing and honour
Glory and Power
Be unto the Ancient of Days
From every nation all of creation
Bow before the Ancient of Days.”

(Gary Edward Sadler and James K. Harvell, “Ancient of Days”)

How majestic it is to hear people from all nations and every language worshipping you. Though we are many, we are one. Praise to you, Oh Ancient of Days.

I feel your loving embrace today, Mighty Yahweh, and thank you for…

We praise you for visions, dreams, your word and embrace. Thank you for wise Elders who remind us of the truth; your kingdom shall endure forever. We accept your invitation to participate in your great mystery and enter into eternity with you as heirs with Christ.

With joy we praise you,

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
