Praise to you, Loving Yahweh, your ways are not our ways. Thank you for answering our heart’s desire; even when we do not know what we are desiring. Thank you for taking the initiative to reveal yourself to us. May we look to you.

We join with creation singing your praises Yahweh. You care for us and provide for us. You are merciful, gracious, and slow to anger. Thank you, we bless you by telling of your mighty deeds. It brings us great joy to worship you.

We enter your sacred prayer space as your children– chosen and called by name, we come to you. We are hard-pressed on all sides; yet, here we are. We have persevered. We count our successes like diamonds in our hands. You gather us in, revealing to us that it is only by your grace that we are still standing.

Loving God, we cry out to you for salvation; hear our prayer. We are helpless, suffering, and we turn to you. You are faithful; you fulfil your word. Save us; heal us.

We enter your sacred prayer space, feeling pressed on all sides. You give us a glimpse of your mighty arms embracing us. Your breath is on our necks. Your lips are upon our ears. We hear you whisper: “I will not allow you to be crushed.” We relax in your embrace.
