James 4:4-10

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space as your children–we humble ourselves before you, our Loving Creator. We are often tempted to go our own ways, and disregard your teachings and calling for us. Yet, you draw near to us, cleansing us from any unrighteousness. You restore us in your mercy.

O Loving God, we hear you call to us, expressing your love for us and desire for us to love you with all our beings. We draw close to you, realising you have been waiting for us to come to you. We confess we have chased the world. We purify our hearts and minds. We humble ourselves. We love you, LORD. We place you like a seal over our hearts.

I draw close to you today, O LORD, and thank you for…

Lift us, LORD, out of the mire of self-righteousness. Fill us with your perfect love, so we will live honourably upon this earth. Walk with us as we journey on your Ancient Path, so we will enter your gates with thanksgiving and rejoicing.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
