Thirteenth Week After Pentecost, Monday, August 19, 2024
Loving Divine Family,
We are perplexed by the frailty of humanity. We see people taking and killing without regard or remorse. Deceit and jealousy abound. We enter your sacred prayer space, seeking your peace. You meet us in our desperation, inviting us to rest under your wing.
Living, loving God, hear our prayers. Grant us wisdom so that we will live lives of truth, love, and understanding, and so we will see others as people created in your image. May our words and actions bring life and healing to those we meet.
I find rest in your care today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…
Protect us and our descendants from those who would steal even our lives from us. Give us wisdom to listen to you, so we will hear the truth and believe.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
