Genesis 17:15-22

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your signs and wonders. We want to know more about your covenant with Abraham and Sarah. We wonder about your promise for us, too. You draw near and invite us to listen. You reveal that we are part of the fulfilment of your promise to Abraham and Sarah; the promise and covenant you made with them is for us too, and also for our descendants.

Loving Yahweh, thank you for calling us by the name you gave us, and not the names with which the world labels us. The blessing was not just for Abraham, but for Sarah as well. You promised her, and fulfilled the promise that she would be the mother of nations.

I receive your promise for me and all generations today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Fill us with the same laughter of awe and wonder that you gave to Abraham and Sarah. We see your promise fulfilled through the ages, and are amazed. We dance and sing with joy in this community, and with those in the heavenly realm.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
