Fourth Week of Advent, Monday, December 20, 2021
No one can see God, but Jesus Christ is exactly like [God]. [Jesus Christ] ranks higher than everything that has been made. Through [Christ’s] power all things were made—things in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, all powers, authorities, lords, and rulers. All things were made through Christ and for Christ. [Christ] was there before anything was made, and all things continue because of [Christ]. [Christ] is the head of the body, which is the church. Everything comes from [Christ]. [Jesus Christ] is the first one who was raised from the dead. So in all things Jesus has first place. God was pleased for all of [themselves] to live in Christ. And through Christ, God has brought all things back to [themselves] again—things on earth and things in heaven. God made peace through the blood of Christ’s death on the cross.

Loving Divine Family,
Where can we go that you have not already been? You are firstborn of all that is, has been, and ever will be. You were in the beginning with Life-giving Spirit when she breathed life into the darkness and over the waters, when creation was born. You walked through the gates of death to everlasting life so we could know that with you all things are possible.
Jehovah Shalom (God is Peace), we receive your love and peace. Praise to you for bringing us back to you through Jesus. We join together singing, “Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled” (Charles Wesley, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”).
I feel your peace within all creation today, Loving Jesus, and thank you for…
In these days of watching and preparing for the new birth of hope, peace, love, and joy, which can only be found in you, we give ourselves to these feelings made complete by your divine love for us. You make our joy complete. We trust in your perfect love.
With joy, we praise you!
