“Now, my children, listen to me,
because those who follow my ways are happy.
Listen to my teaching, and you will be wise;
do not ignore it.
Happy are those who listen to me,
watching at my door every day,
waiting at my open doorway.
Those who find me find life,
and the LORD will be pleased with them.
Those who do not find me hurt themselves.
Those who hate me love death.”
(New Century Version (NCV))
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your holy prayer space seeking peace and happiness that can only come from you. We hear your voice and feel peace as you draw near to us. We listen to you tell us of your love for creation and for us. The wind, earth, and sky hear you too. Grandfather Sun, Grandmother Moon, Mother Earth and all she holds lean in to listen to your love song for us. We are all glad here in your keeping.
O Wise Loving God, we listen with remembering ears to hear your gentle voice speaking love and skill for life. We wait and watch with anticipation at the door, like children waiting for their parents to come home. Praise to you for your ways that bring healing and not harm.
I hear your love song for me today, Loving Jesus, and thank you for…
We rise in this place with all creation and join in the dance, singing praises to you. We have heard your call and entered your open doorway. We have entered once again onto the good path you have prepared for us. Lead us on, O LORD, in your dance of celebration!
With joy, we praise you!
