1 Thessalonians 4:1-12

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, quieting our minds so we can hear you. You call us to listen and watch and to pay attention to the songs of the trees and of all creation. You show us how all things do only what they are created to do, nothing more or less. You also share your desire for us to follow your ways and live in gratitude with generosity towards others.

Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who comforts us, guides us, and gives us peace. We are honoured; you call us into a relationship with you and to live a holy life. We feel such delight to please you, our God.

I hear your call to love others today, O LORD, and thank you for…

We draw near to you with grateful hearts, O LORD. We desire to show our gratefulness through generosity to creation and to each other. We will remain with you, so our gratefulness and generosity will increase. We will glorify you in all we say and do.

With joy, we praise you!
