Exodus 19:7-25

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space at your invitation. Unlike only a chosen few in the time of Moses, you invite all of us to come. You prepare everything in advance for us. You encourage us also to prepare ourselves, to be ready to act when you call us to follow you.

We, your people, come together to worship you. We long to please you. We prepare our hearts and minds to begin the season of Lent in a few days. We quiet ourselves so we can hear you say, “I love you, my beloved children. You are forgiven; now listen to my voice of love.”

I prepare myself for your calling today, O LORD, and thank you for…

Surround us, LORD, with your blanket of love, so we will be protected from harm and so the fear will dissolve as we place our eyes on you. Hold us when we tremble at your voice, so we will be moved to celebrate and sing of your glory.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
