2 Kings 4:8-17, 32-37

Loving Divine Family,

We gather at Shunem in the shadow of the Faith-marker of Elisha’s upper-room. This holy place is a reminder that you are not a fortune teller, deceiving and hungry to be heard. No, you are our only Wise God. You are ever present with us; we find you in your sacred prayer space when we seek you. You invite us to remember to remember your wondrous miracles.

Yahweh, you are a living God who knows our hearts’ desires, the desires, even the deep desires that we are afraid to speak out loud. But you honour even our unspoken dreams and visions. Thank you for all the blessings and miracles that are new each day and remind us that life is precious.

I believe you are the only God of all today, O Wise LORD, and thank you for…

Your prophets speak with your authority. Give us ears to hear and hearts to believe, so we will respond with jubilation at the words of your prophets.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
