“Judges 4:1-16 (New International Translation)” by Mark Beingessner.

Judges 4:1-16

Loving Divine Family,

You hear the cries of our hearts in the wilderness. You command stars and planets to stay in their places, and you provide detailed instructions to guide your faithful followers. Yet, when you instruct us in your ways to take our next steps, we often negotiate with you instead of being obedient.

We have not followed you LORD. We have done our own thing and deserted you. Thank you for being gracious to us and answering our cry for help. We turn to you. Thank you for the prophets who speak your love and truth. May we believe that you are leading us to victory.

I drop my defences to your will today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

You are faithful to us all the time. You respond with love to save and sustain us. The battle belongs to you. Guide us, and we will follow you.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
