Acts 8:26-40

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space as we pause along our journey. We seek your desire for us today. Where shall we go? What would you have us do? You call us to get up and go where Life-giving Spirit leads us. You encourage us to listen first as we go, so we may hear Life-giving Spirit’s call and respond well.

Thank you, Loving God, for weaving the past, present, and future together to accomplish your plans. You lead and guide us with easy-to-follow instructions. You promised Isaiah he would bring Israel back to you, restore Israel, be a light to the gentiles, and that your salvation would reach to the ends of the earth. Several centuries later, a gentile is reading the words of Isaiah, and you sent Philip to be the light to the gentiles. Thank you for creating us to be a part of your glorious plans.

I listen for Life-giving Spirit’s call today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Give us the heart and courage of Philip, so we will run towards the goal you have set before us. We are your Royal Priesthood. We will heed your call and walk your Ancient Path today in a good way.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
