Judges 6:11-24

Loving Divine Family,

You invite us into your sacred prayer space to sit and listen to your teachings and direction. You instruct us to be silent so we can hear you. You tell us about your plans for us and where you will send us to be your light in this world. But we are quick to speak. We challenge you, doubt ourselves, and focus on our human limitations.

Yahweh, you are strong and our defender. You did amazing, marvellous deeds for our ancestors, and you are inviting us to be in relationship with you. You want to do amazing, marvellous deeds for us as well. You long to commune with us, to expose our fears, and dispel the lies we believe by answering our questions. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for being our peace.

I sit in silence to hear your revelations today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Open our ears and silence our doubts, so we will listen to you and understand your will for us. We place faith-markers in this place, on this day, and worship you for your mystery and miracles in our lives.

With joy, we praise you!
