“1 Samuel 23:14-18 (Good News Translation)” by Connie Beingessner.

1 Samuel 23:14-18

Loving Divine Family,

We gather together at Horesh, in the protective hills of your Desert of Ziph. Your wilderness provides safety, sustaining food, water, and shelter. You have prepared everything for us in advance. You have set us upon your Ancient Path, no human or Deceiver’s power can shake us away from your plans.

Loving faithful God, you are with us, leading and guiding us. The path may not be comfortable or easy, but you are with us. Thank you, that in the wilderness experiences you are moulding us into the people you created us to be. Thank you for the kindred spirit friends who strengthen and encourage us not to be afraid.

I feel at peace in your stronghold today, Jehovah Jireh (God who Provides), and thank you for…

Send us encouragement in your chosen Knowledge Keepers, Water Carriers, and Elders. Fill our ears with sweet messages of hope, so we will remain faithful and not stray from your sacred spaces.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
