1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Loving Divine Family,

We gather at your Beautiful Gate to hear the words of the wise. We gather with Elders who share from lives steeped in your holy waters. These Elders are your messengers, and their messages are food for our souls. When we enter your sacred prayer space and receive wisdom from you through Life-giving Spirit, we realize the limits of our human existence and knowledge.

Praise to you, Yahweh, your ways are not our ways. Divine Family, thank you for sharing your wisdom and power with us. It is not what we have done, but what Jesus did for us and is doing for us. We listen and follow your wisdom.

I am surrounded by your infinite wisdom and love today, Mighty Yahweh, and thank you for…

We bow down before you, God of infinite wisdom and love. Your grace is boundless. None can compare to your compassion and care, wisdom and ways. All our hand-made creations crumble before you. We stand naked before you, and hear you say, “I made you perfectly and you are precious to me. We give you thanks as you accept us as your perfect image-bearers.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
