Psalm 121:1-8

Psalm 121 read by Mark Beingessner (The Message)

Loving Divine Family,

We praise you for your goodness, LORD; in your wisdom, you have called us to journey with you and participate in your mystery. We have learned the feeling of peace that comes when you are close to us. We remember your tender mercy. We remember to look to you, Creator of all things, to provide for our every need.

With joyful hearts we come to spend time with you. Our eyes and our minds are focused on you. You are our help and support. Thank you for leading and guiding us.

I look to you for guidance today, LORD, and thank you for…

LORD, you have always marked the road for the coming day. You have always lightened our darkness. Protect us from our human doubts. Though the road may be hidden, and though the darkness is near, we believe and trust in you to walk with us and watch over our coming and going.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!
