Ephesians 4:25-5:2

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space to once again be purified by your lovingkindness. We strive for pure emotions that flow from you, but struggle to keep out the ways of evil. We are tempted to hold on to our anger and seek revenge. We are tempted to withhold from others who are in need of the things we could give them today. But your ways are perfect. Refine us and purify our emotions, thoughts, and actions.

We, your dearly beloved children, give you our sacrifice of praise. May it be a pleasing aroma to you. Thank you for the gentle reminder to speak kindly and graciously; our conversations are to build others up. Thank you, Jesus, for forgiving us, so we can forgive ourselves and others.

I feel you guiding my emotions today, O LORD, and thank you for…

We watch your good and perfect ways, LORD, and seek to imitate your goodness in this world. Give us opportunities along our paths to practise your grace, patience, mercy, and love, and to greet each other in a good way.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
