James 1:2-11

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, turning our eyes and thoughts towards you. We are tempted on all sides and at all times. False gods call to us, enticing us to focus on them. Addictions of all sorts are thrown in our faces; the Deceiver is close to us and is relentless in their pursuit. But you, LORD, bring us back to your peace and assurance. We feel the relief of your presence. We are your beloved children, and we feel humbled to find your full affection.

Way-Maker, you are with us in this sacred moment. We are surrounded by your love and presence. Thank you for being with us in life’s circumstances, providing a way for us to stand firm in your love.

I seek your peace today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Be our refuge and strength in the presence of the Deceiver. Show us your path and the ways to resist temptations and distractions. Your grace and mercy shelter us from harm, day and night. We are forever grateful. We will forever sing of your love.

With joy, we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
