We celebrate your blessings showering upon us and others! You teach us how to celebrate others by first celebrating ourselves as your beloved. We will lift up those in our community and all those you bring before us. We look to you for wisdom and discernment to honour and greet each other in a good way.
Loving Divine Family,
Your ways are so mysterious and wonderful! You come to us in our dreams and thoughts, and we are not afraid. We enter your sacred prayer space, and you welcome us with open arms like a parent welcoming the children home. You know the cries of our hearts and prepare all things for us in advance.
Today, we invite you to ‘Reread, Rest and Reflect’ on the prayers of the past week.
Lectionary Readings for Today:
Psalm 29:1-11
Ecclesiastes 3:1-15
1 Corinthians 2:11-16
We pause and become aware of Life-giving Spirit’s heart pumping the blood of Christ through us and over us. O Spirit of Truth, speak, for we are listening with active listening. Thank you for guiding us in truth and preparing us for what is yet to come.
We enter your sacred prayer space as inhabitants of your Holy City. You greet us as we enter and proclaim to us, “You are not only inhabitants; you are residents. Even more, you are key-holders, and heirs of all that is seen and unseen. It is already done; there is nothing you need to do to earn my inheritance.”
