We enter your sacred prayer space with longings in our soul. We hear voices of our soul’s longing when we wake in the night. We hear them during the quiet times in the day. We hear them now, as the voices cry to Life-giving Spirit. Thank you for creating this space of such deep intimacy, where the veil is so thin between our souls and Life-giving Spirit, that we can participate freely in your mystery.
We, your people, come before you and silence our hearts and inner beings. Creator of the Universe and Ancient of Days, we long to hear you. Thank you for the prompting to be aware we are at the crossroads. We ask what path we should take, so we may walk in a good way.
We enter your sacred prayer space with thanksgiving in our hearts. You welcome us with a loving embrace. These arms that have crushed kingdoms and moved the earth for our sake are so gentle and loving. No other can love us like you. You are the source of all love and goodness, of all that is, has been, and ever will be.
Thank you, Wind of the Spirit, for your life-giving breath that reveals the mysterious ways of the Divine Family. Thank you for sharing God’s secret wisdom that gives life. We relish and cherish the intimacy and the divine revelation.
We, your humble servants, come to spend time with you. Thank you, loving, merciful Yahweh, for hearing our prayers and petitions. Thank you for looking upon us with favour. We are grateful that you forgive us; you hear us and you act accordingly.
Today, we invite you to ‘Reread, Rest and Reflect’ on the prayers of the past week.
