Hold us close and never let us go. Protect us from the false belief that we are lost, lonely, and forgotten. Instead, give us the discernment to recognize that these feelings are your call to return to you. Open our eyes to see your path so we may follow where you lead, and stay true to your calling.
We seek you today in your sacred prayer space. We are tired; we are weary. We silence ourselves to the sound of your voice. Words have been harshly placed lately. We have said them. We have received them. Now we just seek your love and compassion. O LORD, where can we go to hide from your love? Touch us now. Speak and we will listen.
We praise you, LORD, for your wisdom and guidance. You make known to us our paths and direct us with love, patience and compassion. You make mountains move for our sake. You provide shade from the heat of the day and light in the darkest times. We rejoice as we journey together, trusting in you for all our needs.

We enter your sacred prayer space, seeking your forgiveness and to participate in your mystery. We listen to you tell the stories of your mysterious ways. You were before all things and brought them into being with a single word and breath. Only you were there in the beginning. No other gods were there with you. You are Creator to all things.
