We see the work of your hands; your miracles are marvellous! You draw us in, revealing your wonder. Who is like you? We will never stray or fear, because you are with us.
You surround us, embracing us in your protective blanket of love. All attempts from the evil one bounce off you, revealing that never again will you be pierced by spears, arrows, or thorns. You are all-powerful!
We enter your sacred prayer space, desiring to completely believe in your promises. But when we feel surrounded by followers of laws, we feel discouraged as we try to keep our eyes on you. Then, your light shines in the confusion. You invite us to walk in your light, because you are in the light; you are the light.
We gather on the mountaintop in the shadow of the Faith-marker shared long ago by your chosen disciples. In this sacred prayer space with you, so many things make sense to us. We long to stay in this place, but you lead us back to the valleys. Your light and love lead the way for us, to sojourn together as your chosen disciples.
Today, we invite you to reread, rest and reflect on the prayers of the past week.
