Thank you, Loving Yahweh, for loving us just as we are, even when we sin. We know what is right and want to do as you want for us, but we do it on our own. It is a battle of the will. We fail when we do it on our own. The more we try to do it on our own, the worse it gets. Thank you, God, that we are delivered through Jesus Christ, our LORD and that the Holy Spirit speaks to us.
We enter your sacred prayer space seeking a new way. You shine your light across our landscape to reveal your Ancient Path, where our ancestors once walked. On this path, we can experience all things new as we journey in your ways. But you tell us we must choose to fully depart from our old ways, and return only to you. You invite us to remove our old rags so you can dress us in your new robe for our journey.
We, your humble servants, come to spend time with you. Thank you, loving, merciful Yahweh, for hearing our prayers and petitions. Thank you for looking upon us with favour. We are grateful that you forgive us; you hear us and you act accordingly.
Maker of heaven and earth, thank you for the gift of life and the gift of your creation. We are filled with joy because we place our hope in you. We are blessed because you are our help, provider, and God. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
We, your people, come before you and silence our hearts and inner beings. Creator of the Universe and Ancient of Days, we long to hear you. Thank you for the prompting to be aware we are at the crossroads. We ask what path we should take, so we may walk in a good way.
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space with troubled hearts. We receive alarming or unsettling news each day that causes us to fear. Panic presses us from all sides; the world seems more desolate all the time. Thank you for this space and your patience while we pour out our fears, griefs, and concerns to you. Empty us, LORD, so we may once again feel your peace filling us and hear your promises.
