O loving Yahweh, thank you for this holy conversation with you. You patiently wait for us to come and enter into dialogue with you. You are mindful that we are made from dust and get preoccupied with things that do not matter. Thank you for celebrating when we remember you and return to our relationship with you. Thank you for your messengers who speak your love to us.
Creator of Heaven and Earth, wherever we go, there you are. Thank you for your presence, which surrounds us and fills us. We do not need to carry dirt, rocks, or other objects to be able to worship you. We worship you in our daily lives, right where we are, just as we are.
Gather us together so we may experience and share stories of your miracles. Give us your wisdom so we can comprehend and celebrate your voice in our ears and your breath on our lips. Grant us the days we need to accept and return your love for us.
O God of the Sabbath, thank you for the holy habit of rest. You instruct us to be generous with ourselves, others, and creation. You invite us to rest and participate in your loving goodness. We inhale your loving breath and exhale your love with creation. With joy we embrace the celebration, rest, and restoration.
We, your people, hear of the mighty works you have done. We join together to commune with each other and with you. Praise to you, O Yahweh, for the miracles, blessings, and provisions.
Merciful, loving Yahweh, we lean into your loving presence. We silent ourselves and prepare ourselves so we can hear you singing songs of love over us. The songs calm our fears, and we feel you. Thank you for the promise of peace. Thank you for understanding that we are weak and feeble.
