Today, we invite you to ‘Reread, Rest and Reflect’ on the prayers of the past week.

2 Chronicles 36:11-21

John 1:43-51
I hear the angels singing your praises, LORD, and thank you for…
We are at peace in your mystery. We hear the call of your angels as they tend to us. We follow the messages of the angels and your wise Elders, and trust in your mercy. Give us strength and assurance to listen and respond to your call.
You invite us to participate in your mystery, LORD. As we move and breathe to the perfect rhythm of creation’s heartbeat, we feel your love in and around us. We are overjoyed when you reveal your delight for us in so many ways. We are inspired to join your orchestra of praise, and are stirred as you move your conductor’s baton. We respond with confidence, and know our music is a pleasing offering to you.
Thank you, Loving Yahweh, you surround us and inhale your breath. Wherever we go, there you are. We acknowledge you are the one and only God, Creator of the Universe. Thank you for the least likely people to teach us about relationship with you, obedience, healing, and faith. You are our salvation. We go in peace.
In the quiet moments, we hear you say “I love you. Trust in me.” Out of our greed, fear, and need to do things our own way, you bring to light what we have manipulated and where we used power over others to get what we want. We confess our wrong-doings to you. Thank you for your mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Thank you for cleaning us up and giving us a fresh start with Jesus. You are God, and Life-giving Spirit is you living in us, so we can be in right relationship: with you, ourselves, and each other.
We enter your sacred prayer space seeking a relationship and conversation with you. We have pitched our tents here, in the familiar place where we have experienced your favour in the past. We feel you draw near and enter our tent. You surround us and bring peace. We are so thankful for your time with us. We discover in your presence that we have become lazy in being prepared for your arrival. Thank you for your patience and kindness and for once again showing us your favour.
We feel relief as we enter your sacred prayer space to find you waiting for us. We hear your voice as you speak your truth to us. Your words are thunder in the mountains, water on the sand, birds in flight, and wind from the four corners. Creation sings your praises for all you do for us, for you have written our names in your book as your beloved children.
