We once again pitch our tents and build an altar to you in this place. We worship and adore you and welcome you into our tent to dialogue. Teach us your ancient ways so we may participate in your mystery for all our days, now and forever.
Wait and trust the LORD.
Don’t be upset when others get rich
or when someone else’s plans succeed.
Don’t get angry.
Don’t be upset; it only leads to trouble.
We rejoice in the truth that you are God’s son, part of the Divine Family. All we have read in your word, all we know, all we have heard from wise Elders, all we have heard in stories passed down, we believe and hold to be true. We praise you for your wondrous ways.
You invite us to participate in your mystery, LORD. As we move and breathe to the perfect rhythm of creation’s heartbeat, we feel your love in and around us. We are overjoyed when you reveal your delight for us in so many ways. We are inspired to join your orchestra of praise, and are stirred as you move your conductor’s baton. We respond with confidence, and know our music is a pleasing offering to you.
We enter your sacred prayer space, O Word of God! What wondrous love! What wondrous light! Breaking over the horizon, creation bursts forth in song, joining with angels and those in the heavenly realm! Gloria! You have met us in our darkness. Your time has come. We bow down and bring our best selves to you now!
Today, we invite you to ‘Reread, Rest and Reflect’ on the prayers of the past week.
