Loving Divine Family,
We have arrived on the threshold between where we have been and where we are going. We seek and find you here in this holy prayer space. We greet each other in a good way and celebrate the journeys we have been on. We look through the doorway to the new liturgical year with anticipation. “All beginnings are delightful; the threshold is the place to pause” (Wolfgang Von Goethe).
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your love and wisdom. You placed your dream within each of us when you created us. We want to use our gifts to honour you and bless each other. The world tells us what we should do, but we know you are not of this world and have a higher calling prepared for us.
Way-Maker, you are with us in this sacred moment. We are surrounded by your love and presence. Thank you for being with us in life’s circumstances, providing a way for us to stand firm in your love.
Loving Divine Family,
Your love and ways are perfect. You call us out of our comfortable ways of understanding to follow you into the deep waters of our uncertainties, where we must lean on you and completely trust in you.
Stir within us, O LORD, and fulfil your good purpose. Give us manna today for our journey. We accept your invitation to join in your mystery so we will journey with each other in a good way.
Open our eyes to the mystery of your creation. Open our ears to the voices in the trees, Mother Earth, and all beings, so that we may hear their celebration. Draw us close, so we may feel your heartbeat. We bow to Life-giving Spirit in each other and celebrate you.
