We gather at your Beautiful Gate as your community of believers. We are ready to journey once again on your Holy Way, towards your Holy Mountain. As we journey, you are with us and tell us your promises to prosper and not harm us. We used to walk in fear and darkness, but you tell us we do not need to be afraid anymore.
Before we trip, you point out the obstacles on our path. When we stumble, you catch us from falling. When we wander, your gentle arms guide us back to your path and welcome us into your embrace. Only by your divine intervention and grace can we say we are forgiven. Only by your divine intervention and grace can we forgive ourselves and others. Fill us with your mercy so we will sojourn with you and greet each other in a good way.
Loving Divine Family,
Your love and ways are perfect. You call us out of our comfortable ways of understanding to follow you into the deep waters of our uncertainties, where we must lean on you and completely trust in you.
Surround us with the reassurance of your loving faithfulness, LORD. Fill us with the memories and images of your ever-present love and protection as we continue on your path. May your joy be forever in our hearts, and may your praises be ever on our lips as we journey in your care.
Thank you, Loving Yahweh, you surround us and inhale your breath. Wherever we go, there you are. We acknowledge you are the one and only God, Creator of the Universe. Thank you for the least likely people to teach us about relationship with you, obedience, healing, and faith. You are our salvation. We go in peace.
Who are we, O Yahweh, that you should look upon us with such favour? You welcome us into your sacred prayer space, and remind us of your unfailing love. Although we have rejected you and chosen to disregard your ways and wisdom, your promises never cease. You call us to prepare for your never-ending blessings.
