No sooner than when we call your name do we feel you drawing near to us. Your light pushes back the darkness to reveal your good and perfect path. Your peace is upon us. You tell us we do not need to feel afraid anymore. We pause at your invitation, as your peace washes over us. Your community of saints and believers surrounds us and walks with us on our path. We are no longer lost. We are no longer foreigners.
Your ways are not our ways, LORD. We remember to remember that our pressing and difficult circumstances are part of your refining mystery in our lives. You know better than we do what lies ahead and what we must prepare for. We let go of the need to know why, so we can participate in your mystery and greet each other in a good way.

We love you, Yahweh. We seek your truth and righteousness in our lives. As we walk your path together, we will reject evil thoughts and actions so we can greet each other in a good way. Your ways are pure, fair, and just. Teach us your ways so our days will be long and fruitful upon the earth.
Author of our lives, thank you that your word is eternal and life-giving. We accept the invitation to clean up our lives by following the truth. Thank you for the opportunity to live in your love, to love ourselves, and to love others because of your love.
