“Luke 24:36b-48 (New Century Version)” by Connie Beingessner.

Luke 24:36b-48

Loving Divine Family,

We gather behind closed doors, hoping you will draw near to us. Our eyes are tempted towards the threats, storms, and chaos that surround us. Though you draw near, we struggle to believe it is you. But you bring us hope, as you remind us of how you have been with us and our ancestors. Your stories restore us.

Loving Yahweh, we experience fear and anxiety trying to make sense of our circumstances and the truth of eternal life on our own. Thank you for telling us “Peace be with you.” We feel joy and wonder as we spend time with you. Thank you for opening our minds to understand your word.

I feel restored in your presence today, Living LORD, and thank you for…

We welcome you into our space, O LORD. There is room for you in our hearts; we create room for you in our worship. Be in our boats with us as we journey across the seas. Be in our presence as we sojourn upon your Ancient Path.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
