Eleventh Week of Ordinary Time, Sunday, August 13, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We are battered by the wind and waves. We call out to you, “LORD, save us!” Fear and weariness cloud our eyes, and we do not see you. But you are here. You draw near to us, calming our fears and the storms within and around us.
Jesus, our Savior and Companion, thank you for modelling for us how to spend time with God and to take care of ourselves. Thank you, Yahweh, for being in the midst, in the very storms of our lives, speaking words of strength and encouragement. We take your hand and walk out in courage.
I feel calm in your presence today, O LORD, and thank you for…
In your presence, LORD, we find peace, safety, and refuge. We seek the comfort you bring us on our journey. Give us the faith to see and believe you, so we may journey well on your Ancient Path.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
