Hebrews 11:29-12:2

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your wise guidance for the day. We want to journey on your path with confidence, but we often feel we are not ready. Do we have what it takes to succeed? Your voice is an echo through the valley where we find ourselves. Like a loon in the darkness of midnight you let us know you are here with us. You call us into the misty fog of early morning. Though we cannot see, we know you are guiding us.

We, your beloved children, look to Jesus and hear the cloud of witnesses cheering us on in our faith journey. Thank you for the stories that give us strength and encouragement to keep going. We leave behind the labels, habits, idols, and sins that stop us from enjoying our relationship with you.

I follow you with the assurance from those in the heavenly realm today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

More numerous than the trees in the forest, our ancestors cheer us on in the heavenly realm. They line both sides of your ancient path and encourage us to press on. This is the same path they once journeyed. Like marathon runners, we focus on your voice and keep moving forward to your waiting, loving embrace.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
