Philippians 4:4-7
Be full of joy in the Lord always. I will say again, be full of joy.

Let everyone see that you are gentle and kind. The Lord is coming soon. Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God’s peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
(New Century Version (NCV))

Loving Divine Family,

We come to you in your holy prayer space with songs of joy in our hearts and on our lips. Your path is good and prepared for us to journey well. We greet you and each other in a good way today because of your love and gentleness. You give us all we need for today. And so, we praise you and bow to the Divine in each other.

We lay our worries behind us and join creation singing, “How great our joy, joy, joy, joy! Praise we the Lord in heaven on high.” Thank you that hope leads to faith that bursts forth in joy. May your peace continue to protect our hearts and minds as we continue this Advent journey.

I feel your peace and joy in my heart today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Your peace stills our fears and removes our doubts. We look with joy to the path that leads us to your holy mountain. We sing, play our instruments, beat our drums, and accept Life-giving Spirit’s invitation to join the dance. We are free in you, O Christ. We join in songs of celebration.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
