First Week in Lent, Sunday, February 26, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
How many times, O Yahweh? How many times have we pushed against your mighty hand when you hold us in place, preventing us from making disastrous decisions that would lead us down a path of darkness and destruction? Only when we enter your sacred prayer space, do we realize the true nature of your strength. You use your strength to protect us, not to control us.
Thank you, Loving Yahweh, for sharing your wisdom that leads to joy, health, and peace. We, your faithful, pray to you and only you. Thank you for creating the space for us to confess our sins and receive your forgiveness and love. Thank you for not counting our wrong-doings against us. Thank you for your protection. We dance as you sing songs of deliverance, love, and hope to us and over us.
I find selah, dance, and sing with you today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…
We see your grace and mercy at work on all sides of us, in all places. Your arms of love cover this landscape of our lives and journeys like a mother bird covers her young ones. We will listen to your wisdom, and walk your Ancient Path with faith. We will remain with you, seek to understand your nature, and greet each other in a good way.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
