Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30

Loving Divine Family,

How wonderful we feel in your presence in this sacred prayer space. We want to know you more and spend more time with you. You invite us to come to you as we are. We feel Life-giving Spirit’s embrace. We hear you whispering: “Bring your cold hearts, loneliness, doubts, and worn hands. Bring your weariness, feelings of low self-worth, and fear. I will carry your burdens and lighten your loads.”

Rest and peace we long for. Thank you for the invitation to come to you to find rest. You do not desire us to be slaves, but to be your beloved children.

I feel you lifting my burdens from me today, O LORD, and thank you for…

You offer us your new robe, yoke, and a new way of doing things. We accept your offer, and find relief, as we discover the light load we carry when we accept your help. We rejoice together as we journey on your Ancient Path.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
