Luke 8:26-39

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your healing and answers to our prayers. But we so often try to tell you how we want our prayers answered and our expectations and conditions to the answer. We don’t always stop to consider what happens next, and then we respond to your gifts by turning you away when the end result is not what we expected. Your healing is always complete and marvellous. You always bring new instructions for living when you place us on new paths.

If we are honest with ourselves, we have often been out of control and act like brute beasts, destroying everything that is precious to us and you. We may even feel dead inside. Thank you that our acts do not repel you from us; rather, your love breaks through, and we hear you call us by name. You clothe us in robes of righteousness and grace. We look to you and receive your peace that leads to life. Thank you, Divine Family, for the gift of your Spirit and of sound minds.

I receive your healing and instructions today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

The touch of your precious healing hand is more than we can take. Your grace, mercy, and love surround us like fog, washing and consuming us. Yet, we do not perish in your presence. You remove the fear and concern from us so we can relax into your loving embrace, and walk a good path. Journey with us today.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
