“Mark 5:21-43 (Good News Translation)” by Connie Beingessner.

Mark 5:21-43

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, seeking your healing power. But there are so many people in dire need upon this earth; how will you ever reach us in time? How will you hear our prayers? You draw near, touch us, and reassure us you will not leave or forsake us.

O Great Healer, we are broken and impure. Some of us are bold and come to you asking in faith for your healing touch. Others reach out for your cloak not wanting to bother you. We recognize we are not able to heal ourselves. You hear the cry of our hearts. With joy we hear you say, “Your faith has healed you.” Thank you–we go in peace, free from suffering, knowing we are your children.

I receive your healing power today, Loving Saviour, and thank you for…

Drive all doubt from us, so we will fully trust you to meet us in your perfect timing. Give us the healing we need, instead of the healing we want. Give us peace, so we will ponder your healing in our hearts.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
