John 14:15-21

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space in the transitions of life. You greet us with your welcoming kiss and warm embrace. You remind us of how Jesus gave wise teachings to his disciples as a way to help them prepare for his transition from human life to everlasting life. We hear your teachings and seek your wisdom. We need your comfort.

Thank you, Yahweh, and Jesus, Son of God, for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who is our Advocate and Counselor. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for living within and connecting us to God. Thank you, Divine Family, for not abandoning us. Thank you for revealing and reminding us; we are your Beloved.

I seek your wisdom and comfort in my transitions today, O LORD, and thank you for…

Give us wisdom, so we will be able to unlearn our old ways and learn your new ways. Give us patience, so we will pause on the thresholds and listen to your voice inviting us to let go of what we need to. Give us courage, so we will obey you and step forward with you in a good way.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
