Seventh Week of Easter, Sunday, May 21, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space carrying the burdens of fear, illness, and doubt. We feel deserted by our household gods. They cannot help us. You meet us here; you draw near and embrace us. We hear your voice and feel Life-giving Spirit’s comfort and assurance. We hear you praying for us, and we are calm.
Thank you, loving Elohim (the Creator), for creating us for relationship with you. Thank you, Jesus, son of God, for showing us how to have a relationship with God. Thank you, Jesus, for showing us obedience to God, so God’s glories and blessings can be fulfilled in us. Holy Abba Father, protect us by your name. May we be one with you, as you are one with Jesus Christ.
I hear you praying for me today, O LORD, and thank you for…
Even before we know our needs, you are already with us, interceding on our behalf. Your prayer rises to the Throne of Grace, drawing our own cries with you. We are also carried on the wings of Life-giving Spirit, and on the prayers of our ancestors. All glory and thanksgiving to you, our LORD, Jesus Christ!
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
