Acts 16:9-15

Loving Divine Family,

We walk together from your Beautiful Gate into the quiet gardens beyond the city walls. We seek a place of prayer. We find you here in this sacred prayer space, not unlike the place where Lydia was waiting for you. As we listen to your wisdom, you remind us that your message is for all who will listen. You encourage us to tell the story of your loving ways wherever we go.

Thank you, God, for preparing each moment for us by closing doors only you can close and opening doors that only you can open. We, your beloved community, come to spend time with you. In obedience and love for you, we quiet ourselves so we can hear you. We are grateful you prepare our hearts and minds so we can respond to your love.

I remember your goodness in my life today, LORD, and thank you for…

We praise you for the Water Carriers in our communities who are gifted with discernment that comes from you. We, your faithful servants, listen and hear your message today. We believe and commit ourselves and our households to your service.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
