Acts 9:36-43 read by Mark Beingessner

Acts 9:36-43

Loving Divine Family,

The wind blows and the rain falls; the sun rises and sets. We so often think nothing of these daily miracles. Your love for us is boundless and your ways are mysterious. It is impossible for us to know all of your ways. But you know each of us so intimately. You press your mouth to our ears and whisper our names. You press your mouth to our lips and exhale life into our being. Such are the nature of your miracles.

We come to meet you in the upper room to encounter your healing love. Thank you for community, who pray for and with us, so we can experience life-giving miracles. Thank you for the people in our lives, who are like Tabitha; they compassionately show us how to be clothed in dignity, love, and grace.

I receive your life today, LORD, and thank you for…

Gather us together so we may experience and share stories of your miracles. Give us your wisdom so we can comprehend and celebrate your voice in our ears and your breath on our lips. Grant us the days we need to accept and return your love for us.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
